Zen Stargazing invites you to experience “Star Bathing” — relaxing beneath the vast southern sky and letting yourself be embraced by the stars.. This Japanese-guided tour is designed especially for Japanese visitors seeking a peaceful and authentic night-sky experience. Enjoy hot chocolate and cozy blankets as you relax and gaze into the universe. With a maximum of eight guests, you’ll explore the southern hemisphere’s night sky — your guide tracing constellations and celestial objects visible to the naked eye with a laser, and offering telescope views of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky wonders. Based in Twizel, private tours can also be arranged in Tekapo upon request — a tranquil, soul-soothing escape beneath the stars.
